FAQ

  • How long do placards last?

    Placards are UV and weather and resistance, however, if your placards are facing the sun they will potentially need to be replaced every 5-7 years depending on sun exposure and weather conditions.


  • Which files do I need to send over?

    We suggest that you send the original PDF files to ensure that we produce an exact placard. This will help us create a more prompt, precise, and accurate output.

  • What if I don't have the Original PDF Plan set?

    While not completely necessary. It's possible to recreate placards using Google Earth to get the outline of your roof. However, this process does tend to take a bit longer since it has to be recreated from scratch.  Most of the time the original solar company that installed your solar should have the PDF files, feel free to reach out to them to see if they can send them over to speed up the process. 

  • How do the placards adhere on the Main Service Panel?

    Our placards come with preinstalled adhesive on the backside. It's as simple as cleaning the area you wish to install the placard, removing the back film, and applying it to your desired location on the main service panel.
